First launch on macOS

The beta build isn’t notarized yet, so macOS blocks it once. This is a one‑time step — after that Dodo opens with a normal double‑click.

  1. Open the .dmg, drag Dodo into your Applications folder, then eject the disk.
  2. Double‑click Dodo. macOS says it can’t be opened — click Done (not “Move to Trash”).
  3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the blocked “Dodo” message and click Open Anyway, then confirm.

Still blocked? Open Terminal and run:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Dodo.app
You’ll need your access code. Dodo is invite‑only during the beta — enter the personal code we sent you when the app opens. One code is tied to one device.
